What a travesty that would be. Of all the kitchen-challenged people in North Jersey, I -- above all others -- need this class!
According to the course description, the instructor is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and after eight sessions “your family and friends will think you’re a culinary graduate!” Awesome!
I won’t know until next week if I’m been accepted, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed until then. Wish me luck!

Oh I hope you get accepted! Not because it'll improve your cooking skills (because seriously, how's that helping MY life), but because it'll probably make for some entertaining blog fodder :p
ReplyDeleteme in a mock-kitchen with complete strangers, who are in no way prepared for my klutziness...yeah, im sure ill come up with something to write about ;)
ReplyDeleteOMG I have to tell you about my most recent kitchen klutziness. So I'm hanging with some friends for a little weekend getaway and I decide to make cupcakes for the whole group (there was about 15+ of us). I got two boxes of cake mix, set out my ingredients and start making the first batch. After I popped those in the oven, I start making the second batch. Throw the cake mix in the bowl and reach for the remaining eggs I'd set out on the counter.
ReplyDelete"Wait, why are there still six eggs out here?"
....
"Aaaah!!"
Had to pull the dough out of the oven, scoop them out and into another bowl and mix the three eggs in. No one could taste the difference :)
remind me never to eat @ ur place :p
ReplyDeleteWhere in North Jersey will you be taking your class?
